My name is Kenneth and I live in the sunny island of Singapore.
My first experience kayaking was in 2002 when I took my 1 Star certification, but it was only after attending a day trip in 2004 that I got hooked. The interest grew and I got myself certified as a Level 1 Recreational Coach in October 2007.
With my roots in recreational paddling, I am currently trying to expose myself to the various disciplines of canoeing. To date, I have briefly experienced flatwater racing, canoe polo and whitewater paddling. Hopefully, I will be able to paddle in a surf zone in the near future.
This blog documents my thoughts, personal progress and basically anything about kayaking in Singapore with the occasional rant.
